Panoramic View - Northern Sky

2022-09-20 16:37 UT Very bright flash in NE Sky Not a light artefact. Not a plane or a helicopter (no sign before/after flash). No indication of rocket/satellite (again no sign before/after). So presume it is a bright meteor entering at a fairly steep angle.

2022-11-21 01:25 UT Unexplained light immediately above NNW horizon (could be cloud lit by town lights, but seems more distant than the local town to NNW) , appeared at 01:00 and persisted until at least 06:00

2022-11-21 01:53 UT Aurora activity (rays) again along northern horizon to 5-8 deg.

2022-11-21 02:04 UT Faint auroral arc to 4-5 degs altitude

2022-11-21 02:14 UT Auroral arc brightening with rays to 8-9 deg

2022-11-21 02:27 UT Auroral arc in northern sky to 5 deg Light immediately above horizon in NNW persists

Magnetometer Stack Plots from Scandinavia (ordered by latitude) H Component - 2022-11-20 / 2022-11-21 Original data from Tromsø Geophysical Observatory (TGO), DTU Space (Technical University of Denmark) and Finnish Meteorological Institute (FMI, displayed on SpaceWeatherLive http://www.spaceweatherlive.com/en/auroral-activity/magnetometers). Note: Geomagnetometer activity at rvk (Rorvik, 64.95N), dob (Dombas, 62.07N), sol (Solund, 61.08N) and kar (Karmoy, 59.21N) stations are used as indicators for potential auroral activity that may be visible from my Observatory situated at latitude 57.32N  (Map of Stations)
