1. Targets.  Acquire images of a selection of variable stars, nearby stars, comets & deep sky targets as allowed by sky conditions

Highlights

• Targets. 7 out of 20 planned targets were completed, with 3 other targets partially completed. Of these 4 targets were rejected later due to wind/bad guiding and/or cloud.
• 29P/Schwassmann-Wachmann.  Good image of comet 29P/Schwassmann-Wachmann acquired.
• Dome Slews.  One dome slew   (Hold Up Stats: 1/13 slews affected, 8%, 2.1 minutes total hold-up time).

Major Issues

• Initiating Session failed with message 'AstroPlan cannot be loaded or something.  Tried again but it again failed. AstroPlan Schedule builder noted to have failed with an exception somewhere around Gen 3 /50. Examining AstroPlan's log confirms that 'AstroPlan Schedule Builder is failing with the exception "The added or subtracted value results in an un-representable DateTime" . Issue is most-likely associated with an issue with inclusion of a Booked Item for 29P/Schwassmann-Wachmann  (which is described under a separate issue ticket, see below.  The major issue that was preventing session from starting was resolved in session by deactivating the booked item, and restarting AutoStart.  This time an observing plan was successfully created and was successfully loaded ok to AstroMain.  Comet was added to the night's set of observations as a ToO (Target of Opportunity)

Minor Issues

• 'AstroPlan Schedule builder noted to have failed with an exception somewhere around Gen 3 /50. Examing AstroPlan's log confirms that 'AstroPlan Schedule Builder is failing with the exception "The added or subtracted value results in an un-representable DateTime"  with detail:

  Issue apppears to be an issue with inclusion of a Booked Item (for 29P/Schwassmann-Wachmann).  This is most-likely the first time a booked observation has been attempted where the booked observation (UT start time)  is operating in a DST (Summer Time) situation, and this might be exposing the bug.
