Galley Objects   - None     Photometric Monitoring - Variables - SS Cyg, RX And, W And, Z And, RX And, BL Lac U And & GK Per attempts failed (due to sky/cloud)      Astrometric Monitoring - Nearby Stars Ross 248 (HH And), Groombridge 34 attempts failed (due to sky/cloud)

- Session using old 8" LX200 Classic scope, whilst main 12" LX200R scope is away for repairs  - Evening session (1.3 hrs), initially clear, but deteriorating with rain/hail forcing a rapid end to the session  - Session operated in observatory for first hour and then under semi-automated control, with remote monitoring from indoors computer. Problems encountered in last hour with wireless link to observatory laptop failing - Ambient Temperature:  2°C  (minimum) - CCD operation -30°C (at 76% average cooling).   - main objectives of the session was to acquire images of selected project stars for ongoing photometric and astrometric analysis - Notes from 2010-02-11
