IC 2973 - Spiral Galaxy & Supernovae 2011ao     NGC 2431 - Spiral Galaxy with Supernovae candidate     Photometric Monitoring - Variables - RX And, U And, W And, Z And, CV CMi, R CrB, U Gem, CZ Ori, FO Ori, FU Ori, DY Per, GK Per - FS Aur attempt (aborted)     Astrometric Monitoring - Nearby Stars - Groombridge 34	- Early evening  session (4.6 hrs), - Session operated under semi-automated control, with remote monitoring from indoors computer.  - Ambient Temperature: Initially 7.0°C falling steadily to 3.0°C  (minimum) by session end. - CCD operation -25°C (at 73% average cooling).   - main objectives of the session was to acquire images of selected project stars for ongoing photometric analysis.

IC 2973 with SN 2011ao (Ursa Major) SN 2011ao (Type Ia) was discovered discovered 2011/03/03.434 by A. Kroes, Jack Newton, and Tim Puckett Discovery Magnitude 17.1 (Rochester Supernova site | Discovery Image | TNS 2011ao )

IC 2973 with SN 2011ao - 2011-04-03 (T+36d) Image below (2011-04-03.84) was taken 36 days after SN discovery. SN 2011ao is marked by white cross hair Estimated Mag +14.1 (Clear Filter)

NGC 2431 with Supernovae candidate (Lynx) PSN J07451362+5304107 (Type 1c) was discovered 2011/03/29.125 by Jack Newton and Tim Puckett Magnitude at discovery ~ +17.4 (Rochester Supernova site | Discovery Image ) Image below (2011-04-03.92) was taken 5.8 days after PSN discovery. Est Mag +15.9 SN candidate  is marked by white cross hair
