AT 2026iul  - CV Type Transient

AT 2026iul (Cygnus)
AT 2026iul (Type: CV) discovered 2026-04-07.397 UT by GEOTS
Alias: GEOTS-PAPA-SHANKAR-2026-003
Discovery Magnitude 15.7 (Clear- Filter)
vs Prior Non-Detection Limiting Magnitude 18 (Clear- Filter)
Discovered in Cyg using 14" f/2.0 Astrograph at Golden Ears Observatory (MPC code U55).
Group reports a significant brightening of the Gaia DR3 variable star 2033708559892804224 (VSX).
Recent observations show an increase in magnitude of >2.3 when compared to the
last recorded observation from Golden Ears Observatory on 02 March 2026.
